Bulgaria's Ambassador to Poland, Ivan Naydenov, is going to request that the Polish authorities inspect the condition of the 8-year-old Nikoleta.
Last Thursday, Nikoleta was seized by her Polish mother from her Bulgarian father by force and with the help of the police, after the father, Todor Vasilev, had been sentenced by a Bulgarian court for kidnapping his own children from their mother in Poland and bringing them to his native Asenovgrad in Southern Bulgaria.
The seizing of Nikoleta during which her younger brother, the 7-year-old Pavel, managed to escape, caused a public outrage in Bulgaria, including mass civic protests before the Polish Embassy in Sofia since Nikoleta and Pavel's Polish mother, Barbara, has been aided by Polish diplomats.
A video of the shocking attempt to seize the two kids from their Bulgarian father against their will is available HERE.
The Bulgarian Ambassador to Poland will request an inspection by Polish authorities at the demand of the Bulgarian Child Protection Agency, Bulgaria's European Affairs Minister, Gergana Passy, has announced.
