A second Sofia City Court judge has withdrawn from trying the case of the registration of the opposition, right-wing UDF party.

The news was announced by Darik radio, citing a source from the Court.

The Judge stated as motive procedural obstacles because until now he had tried claims and made sentences in trials in which the Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) party has been a side.

On May 7, Judge Nikolay Madzharov, from the Sofia City Court, also withdrew from participation in the UDF registration trial.

Judge Madzharov and the second judge were part of the teams of magistrates who were supposed to reexamine the registration of the leader of UDF, Martin Dimitrov.

On April 30, Bulgaria's Supreme Cassation Court returned the case to the City Court criticizing the motives to reject Dimitrov's registration.

A new team of magistrates will now have to be assigned. Te selection is going to be made randomly, by a computer.
