The "Blue Coalition" will submit documents for their registration with the Central Election Commission at 3:45 pm on Sunday.

The information was revealed Saturday by the leader of one of the parties in the coalition - Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB), Ivan Kostov, cited by the Bulgarian information agency BGNES.

Kostov did not say, however, if the coalition was going to be registered under the DSB registration.

The Blue Coalition has collected over 50 000 signatures from all over the country.

Ivan Kostov, and the leader of the other coalition party - Union of Democratic Forces (UDF), Martin Dimitrov, will give a special press conference Sunday, after submitting the documents to the Election Commission.

The Member of the Parliament from DSB, Eliana Maseva, told Darik radio Saturday that the Coalition would not make any changes in the lists of nominees to run at the European Parliament elections and would not change the Coalition's name.

Also on Saturday, the UDF press center issued an "Open Letter from the UDF Leadership" condemning the latest scandal around the party's registration and accusing the leaders of the ruling Bulgarian Socialist Party and ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms Party, Sergey Stanishev and Ahmed Dogan, and their "servants" Yurukov and Radonov in attempting to destroy democracy in Bulgaria.

The declaration reassures the supporters of the blue idea and all citizens that they will have the opportunity to vote for the rightist "Blue Coalition."

"Democracy will be protected. It is time to get angry. None of the legal traps will stop us. It is time to unite. No political repression is going to scare us. It is time to declare victory," the declaration reads.

Also on Saturday, the Chair of the Sofia City Court, Svetlin Mihailov, told Darik that new leadership of the opposition UDF party would not be able to officially register for the European Parliament elections.
