US Vice President Joe Biden Visits Balkans, Skips Bulgaria

The US Vice President, Joe Biden, is going to visit several countries in Southeastern Europe in May 2009.

This becomes clear from an announcement of the press service of the office of the Vice President of the United States.

According to the official message, Biden's Balkans tour will not reach Bulgaria as it will concentrate on the Western Balkans - Biden will be visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Kosovo.

Joe Biden's tour to the Balkans is starting on May 18. He will be meeting with the political leaders of the two states as well as with the US troops stationed there.
