Legendary Bulgarian kaval player Theodosii Spassov is currently touring the US, offering jazz fans a unique twist on traditional jazz mixed with Bulgarian folklore music.

According to Newsweek, Grammy award winning Theodosii "has actually invented a new genre", synthesizing traditional folklore with jazz, fusion and classical music.

The Chicago Tribune compares his show to "...a jam between Ian Anderson and Thelonius Monk". Joining Theodosii on his tour is his band of four accomplished musicians and Tatiana Sarbinska, a world renowned Bulgarian Balkan vocalist known as The Voice Of Pirin.
