Bulgaria's National Company "Railway Infrastructure" is going to cut its spending by BGN 22 M over crisis effects.

The measures are envisaged in a report of the Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev, which has been approved by the Cabinet.

In order to curtail its expenses, the state-owned Railway Infrastructure Company is going to close down some of the unprofitable railway lines, to freeze the salaries of its employees, and to cut its administrative costs.

In addition, the Railway company is expecting a revenue of BGN 15,6 M from the sale of non-operational assets.
