Friends and relatives bid farewell on Sunday to Kiril Vuzharov, the Bulgarian international ice hockey player who was stabbed to death in a fight outside Solo nightclub in Sofia last Saturday.
One of Vuzharov's friends, who was celebrating his birthday, was also killed and another man seriously injured.
Sofia City Court ruled last week to keep behind bars the suspected murderer, 22-year-old Iliyan Todorov, as the investigation of the case is still under way.
Should he be found guilty, the young man faces from 15 years to a lifetime sentence in jail.
The Bulgarian hockey federation and the father of Kiril Vuzharov have established a fund to raise money for young hockey players.
