Bulgaria's Prime Minister Stanishev replied to Sofia Mayor's comments in Moscow about the cabinet sabotaging the Municipality by telling Borisov to mind his own business.

"Boyko Borisov should mind his own business first, and only then should he be asking questions. I don't care about wolves, or rabbits, or pumpkins, or other representatives of the fauna and flora. What I care about is the condition of Sofia, and the city is extremely dirty", Stanishev declared.

Prime Minister's statements came in reply to Sofia Mayor Borisov's claims that Stanishev's government wanted to give the Sofia garbage concession to its former owner, the businessmen Rumen Gaitanski, aka Valka ("The Wolf"), BGNES reported.

"Borisov's behavior speaks of fear. He is used to asking questions over the media but then he hides from the open debate behind his experts. A politician who does not want public debate can hardly be convincing", Stanishev explained saying also he wanted to ask Borisov whether he had been allocating the garbage concessions legally, and whether his associates were not involved in conflict of interests over the construction of the Sofia Metro.

"It is said and funny that the Mayor claims that the capital is clean. The Sofia residents are breathing polluted air. The steel plant Kremikovtzi problem is huge and very complex", Stanishev said adding he had asked the Economy and Labor Ministers to come up with compensation packages for the Kremikovtzi workers who are likely to be laid off with the highly likely liquidation of the plant.

PM Stanishev made these comments regards Borisov's remarks in Moscow in the southern Bulgarian town of Perushtitsa, where he visited a festival of Roma culture for the International Roma Day.
