A three-dimensional installation focused on consumer protection and food safety is mounted in downtown Sofia.

The installation is on display near the polls outside the National Palace of Culture (NDK) and is part of the informational strategy of the European Parliament (EP) focused on the upcoming EP elections on June 7, 2009.

The two 2,4-meters-tall frozen chicken are mounted on a rectangular 2-5-meter base. They are made from styrofoam and fiberglass. The entire construction is 3,9-meters-tall and weights 1,900 kg.

The second tri-dimensional EP installation, titled "Frontiers", is going to be mounted on April 6, in the Black sea capital Varna.

Similar installations will be placed in all of the European Union (EU) Member States. Their goal is to promote areas in which the EU can influence separate countries, such as energy production, financial markets, transportation, safety and security, education, consumers' protection.

The EP strategy is held under the motto: "You Decide".
