Swedish Appello Provides GPS for Bulgaria M-Tel

Swedish mobile navigation supplier Appello announced Thursday a partnership with Bulgaria's leading telecom operator M-Tel, to provide mobile mapping, local search and GPS navigation.

M-Tel launches "M-Tel NAVIGATOR", a new mobile service based on Appello's GPS navigation platform WISEPILOT, GPS Business News reported.

"By using Appello's platform we get immediate access to a leading product and the ability to create a user-friendly and uniform experience. We see the timing of this product launch as perfect as all major handset manufacturers have introduced GPS-enabled handsets", M-Tel Marketing Director, Evgeni Karakanovski .

The price of the subscription package for a day is BGN 5,90 including VAT, and BGN 19, 90 for a month. When using international maps for navigation the prices for daily and monthly subscription packages are respectively BGN 6,90 and BGN 24,90. The data traffic is included in the subscription package for navigation within Bulgaria.
