Top Bulgarian Businessman Kiro Kirov Goes Missing

The Bulgarian police have declared missing Kiro Kirov, a wealthy businessman and industrialist.

The 70-year-old founder of the "Kirov" firm was last seen by his relatives at 9 pm on Friday.

After that they were unable to reach him, and did not find him in his home in Sofia's Bankya Quarter, the bTV channel reported.

The only thing they discovered was Kirov's jeep which was park in front of the house and left unlocked.

Kiro Kirov is the CEO of Kirov Holding which includes a number of firms for the production of furniture, a textile firm, a transport firm, and firms importing construction equipment and machines.

In 2007, Kirov Holding had a turnover of BGN 204 M. Kirov is a machine engineer, and a graduate of the Sofia Technical University.
