The Bulgarian advertisement market will decrease by between 20-30% in 2009.

Krasimir Gergov, CEO of the Bulgarian advertisement agency KRES, reported Thursday for Pari Daily newspaper.

In his words, the total turnover of the Bulgarian commercials business was BGN 520 M in 2008. The crucial point for the market will be in July, when it will be clear whether the advertisers will become more active and willing to invest, Gergov said.

Small media companies are the most affected by the crisis, while Internet-based and large media companies will not be disturbed by the lack of advertisement, Krasimir Gergov commented.
