Sofia City Court has postponed once again the case against the notorious former head of Sofia's heating utility, who along with four other managers of the company are accused of embezzlement and causing losses to the company.

According to prosecutors, Valentin Dimitrov together with managers Georgi Rogachev, Lila Ablanska, Maya Stoilova and Emil Antonov, caused losses to the company amounting to about BGN 6 M in the period 2003-2006 by buying luxury goods and spending company money on holidays. Dimitrov even installed a Jacuzzi in his office despite the troubled financial condition of the state owned company.

The Monday's hearing has been put off as one of the defendants failed to turn up at the courtroom due to illness.

Dimitrov has repeatedly rejected the charges against him.

The next hearing was scheduled for April 6-7.
