World Bank Prepared to Extend Financial Support to "Nabucco"

The World Bank has stated that it could extend financial support to the "Nabucco" gas line project, the Ukrainian internet publication "Finance" reports, cited by the Darik radio.
According to the publication, the World Bank will offer funds if members of the Consortium and gas suppliers succeed in reaching an agreement.
Ulrich Zachau, World Bank Country Director for Turkey Europe and the Central Asia Region is quoted as saying that Turkey and Europe must reach agreement with the suppliers and allow the World Bank to join the project to help finance it.
