Cold and Dry Weather in Bulgaria until February 20th

Environment | February 12, 2019, Tuesday // 11:15|  views

Colder, but relatively dry weather awaits us in the next ten days. At least until February 20th, temperatures will stay around the usual for this period of the year - the daily to 4, 7 degrees, and the morning - below zero in many places, reports Darik.

A very powerful anti-cyclone is located almost all over Europe, its center will be over the central, and later in the week over the eastern regions of the continent, and over the country will carry colder air from the north.

Above Western Europe things will be different. There is warming in the second half of the week.

As there are no indications in the coming days to expect Mediterranean cyclones, we will be away from the active processes and the weather will be stable, over the eastern regions in the second half of the week, will blow to moderate northern wind.

On Friday in some places in the country will pass little snow, but there is no reason to expect significant precipitation.

Above Turkey and Greece, however, weather will be bad, typical winter, and there will be precipitation from rain, and over Turkey to snow.

After February 21, the models show warming to daytime temperatures of 12, 14 degrees.

Whether the next ten days will be the last colder days this winter - is not clear yet. It is possible, but it is also possible that the circulation over the continent will change and we will see worse and cold weather by the end of February.
