Exhibition by Ivaylo Petrov Features Images of Bulgarian, World Stars

A provocative exhibition revealing the unknown faces and images of some of the most famous Bulgarian and world stars will be presented in Vivacom Art Hall on November 17, at 19.00.

Beyond the Portrait is a special selection featuring the best of personal projects of the young photographer Ivaylo Petrov from the last two years.

For the first time to the Bulgarian public will be shown the set The Modern Saint, Portraits of Shame and Mythological First World Problems, and also the monumental photographs Human nature, Flight of Icarus and Modern Battle.

Sensitivity, performances and the attention to the details make him a true master of contemporary surrealism. The strong energy and original interpretations invoke associations with the best examples of expressionism.

On the photographs we can see familiar faces like Deyan Donkov, Koyna Ruseva, Yordan Yovchev, also a lot of tattoo artists, mathematicians, athletes. All of them are participants in the surreal game of the imagination of the author.

Ivaylo Petrov studied at the New Bulgarian University, аnd as a result he leads and photographic course there. His portfolio includes commitments for Bulgaria on Air Inflight Magazine, Porsche, Ogilvy, Sofia Ring Mall, Visa, etc.

Beyond the Portrait can be seen until December 5 in Vivacom Art Hall and the entrance is free.
