Victims of the Catastrophic Earthquake in Italy reach 240

The number of people who lost their lives in the Italian earthquake has now reached a count of 240 people, Reuters reported.

Most of the people were tourists visiting the country for leisure. Additional 270 people have been hospitalized and have suffered injuries.

According to the latest information provided by local authorities, close to 215 people have been found safe and sound under the ruins. Over 1000 police officers, 1060 firefighters, 400 military servants, and 3000 volunteers have joined in the rescue works.
