The tickets for the 2015 Junior Eurovision, which is scheduled to take place at the Arena Armeec hall in the Bulgarian capital Sofia on November 21, went on sale on Monday.

The prices of tickets range between BGN 40 and 60, with a 50 % discount available for children aged under 14 years.

The tickets for the concert can be purchased in the network of Eventim, including online at eventim.bg and at the cash desks of the Arena Armeec hall.

A total of 8000 tickets for the final show have gone on sale.

Tickets for the Jury Final and the general rehearsal taking place on November 20 will also go on sale.

This year's edition of the song contest will have the greatest number of participants since 2007.

A total of seventeen countries will compete – Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

Australia and Ireland will be making their debut appearances at the song contest.

Bulgaria was granted the right to host the thirteenth edition of the Junior Eurovision after last year's winner Italy refused to stage it.

In 2014, Bulgarian representatives Krisia, Hasan and Ibrahim finished second, 12 points behind the winner from Italy Vincenzo Cantiello.

This year Bulgaria will be represented by twelve-year-old Gabriela Yordanova, who won the national selection in September.

Also in September, Bulgaria's 2014 participant Krisia presented this year's theme song - "Discover".

The stage in Arena Armeec will measure almost 700 square metres, making it considerably larger than last year's one in Malta and the show will feature more than 400 moving lights and LED walls.
