Bulgaria's top ranking male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov is the country's most popular celebrity for a second consecutive year according to the Bulgarian edition of Forbes magazine.

Forbes Bulgaria announced its list of the country's 70 most popular celebrities for a third consecutive year on Thursday.

The youngest person to feature on the list is talented eleven-year-old singer Krisia, who claimed second place in the 2014 edition of the Junior Eurovision together with the twin pianists Hasan and Ibrahim.

The top 70 of Bulgarian celebrities is one of the most popular lists of Forbes and ranks the country's most popular and distinguishable Bulgarians.

Dimitrov is followed by TV producer Magardich Halvadzhiyan and TV host, producer and singer Slavi Trifonov.

Boxer Kubrat Pulev and football player Dimitar Berbatov come next, followed by comedian and TV producer Lyubo Neykov and musician and producer Vladimir Ampov – Grafa.

The top ten is completed by actor Zahari Baharov, artist Mariya Ilieva and comedian Nencho Balabanov.

The list follows the methodology of the US edition of Forbes and features athletes, musicians, TV hosts and producers, actors and directors, models and artists.

Criteria according to which celebrities are ranked include successes in their field of activity, participation in projects different from their main activity – such as charity and other social causes, frequency of their media appearances and activity in the social networks.
