The football teams of Beroe and Cherno More will represent Bulgaria in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.

This became clear after the second leg of the first qualifying round, which took place on Thursday.

Beroe achieved a convincing 3:1 victory over visitors Atlantas Klaipeda from Lithuania and proceeds to the second round after having won the first leg with 0:2.

The Bulgarian forward Spas Delev, who also scored in the first leg, recorded a hat-trick with goals in the 7th, 45th and 67th minute, while Vezevicius lowered the score to 2:1 in the 65th minute.

Thus, Beroe will face the Danish team Brondby in the second round, with the first leg to be played in Stara Zagora on July 16, while the return game is a week later in Denmark.

The team of Cherno More will start its participation in the Europa League directly from the second qualifying round.

The holders of the Bulgarian Cup will face Dinamo Minsk with the first leg taking place in Varna, while the return game will be in Belarus a week later.

The other Bulgarian team in the first qualifying round Litex concluded its participation in the tournament after drawing 2:2 with visitors from Latvia Jelgava.

Oss scored the opening goal for the visitors in the 11th minute, but Litex managed to equalise and come in the lead with two goals by Johnsen in the 25th and 56th minutes.

However Diallo scored the precious equaliser in the 60th minute, which guaranteed his team's progress to the second round.

Jelgava proceeded to the second round after having scored more away goals, with the two teams having drawn 1:1 in the first leg in Latvia.
