Bulgaria's top male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov announced that he has decided to end his working relationship with coach Roger Rasheed.

The announcement came as Dimitrov ended his participation at Wimbledon after suffering a heavy defeat in the third round of the tournament.

The two have been working together since October 2013.

At their first joint tournament in Stockholm, Dimitrov claimed his first ATP title.

This was followed by an even more successful season last year, when the Bulgarian claimed three titles on three different surfaces - Acapulco (hard court), Bucharest (clay) and Queens (grass) and reached semi-final at Wimbledon.

However since the beginning of the year, Dimitrov has experienced a drop in his performance.

Rasheed was the fifth coach since the Bulgarian started his professional career.

Dimitrov expressed gratitude to Rasheed for the hard work and support in the past years and wished him success in his future endeavours.
