UEFA will fine Bulgaria's Levski Sofia with EUR 200 000, as part of the sanction imposed on the football club in 2014 for breaching the rules on financial fair play.
Although the monitoring of Levski expired in February after UEFA had overseen the club's accounting for a period of nine months, the fine will not be revoked, daily Dnevnik reports.
The sum will be deducted from revenues generated from Levski's future participation in the European tournaments.
Thus, in the event that Levski qualifies for the Europa League, it will start from minus EUR 200 000, which is the revenue generated from two qualifications in the tournament.
UEFA punished Levski for considerably exceeding its declared revenues, but the club from Sofia has already put its accounting into order.
