The election of a chairperson of Bulgaria's Reformist bloc due today has been canceled, according to a message by Radan Kanev revealed on social media.

At a congress scheduled for 11.00 am Sunday, the right-wing coalition was to elect a general chairperson. So far the nominated candidates were the leaders of Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria (DSB) Radan Kanev and of the Union of Democratic Forces (SDS) Bozhidar Lukarski.

The forum was sabotaged after yesterday the SDS party and Meglena Kuneva issued a joint position that the election of a chairperson should take place on November 10, Nova Tv informs.

According to the leader of DSB Radan Kanev, there will be a forum after all - the Democrats for Strong Bulgaria, the Freedom and Dignity People's Party and the Bulgarian Agrarian National Union will launch their campaign.
