Stanislav Anastassov, who became Environment Minister in June, does not hold a Bachelor's degree from the Technical University of Munich as previously reported.

As Anastassov, who took over from Iskra Mihaylova (with the latter leaving the office to become MEP), refused to answer any questions before his candidacy was voted by Parliament, the information available online, his CV included, pointed he had completed the whole course of Computer Science at TUM.

However, TUM Corporate Communications Center's head Ulrich Marsch told website Dnevnik.bg he had spent three years at the university (2002-2005).

Earlier, Anastassov had made yet another claim, arguing he had studied Applied Mathematics in Germany for just a year and had left to devote himself to politics.
