By the end of 2013, Bulgaria's newest right-wing entity, the Reformist Bloc, will be registered as a political union.

The news was reported at a press conference Sunday by Radan Kanev, leader of one of the parties in the Bloc, Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB).

Kanev said "reformers" will not merge into a single party, but will establish a coalition. In this format, the parties in the Bloc will run in coming European elections and possible in early general elections.

The right-wing leader commented that preparations of coalition agreements have been already launched. He refused to give details of who will head the new coalition.

"I will not comment on details of what we have we discussed and on projects we have. This is a mistake that has been made many times over the years. To quote an old German political joke - no one wants to know how sausages and coalitions are made," said Kanev.

The briefing for journalists was organized after the parties in the Bloc held a general conference over the weekend. The forum was attended by regional coordinators and district leaders of the formations in the Bloc. All of them have expressed desire to work intensively to be able to turn the Reformist Bloc into a political union as soon as possible.
