Another child from Bulgaria has been discovered in a Roma camp in Greece, according to the information site greekreporter.com.

An investigation of the prosecution in Thessaloniki in birth certificates, issued between 2008 and 2013, established that a Roma family has declared the birth of their second child six months after the birth of the first one.

Authorities found the couple and the 4- year-old girl in a camp in the outskirts of Thessaloniki. DNA tests revealed that the man and the woman were not the biological parents of the child, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reported Wednesday.

Both "parents" were arrested and likely face charges of kidnapping and illegally obtaining social assistance. They explained that a Roma family from Bulgaria has given them the girl because they could not afford to raise it. The girl is now in the care of a charity organization.

The report comes on the heels of recent news about Maria, the four-year-old blond Bulgarian Roma girl who made rounds in world media after being discovered in a Roma camp in Greece.
