Adamant Bulgarians to Stage Rally in front of Govt's Seaside Residence

Bulgarians are expected to stage a rally in front of the Euxinograd government residence near the Black Sea city of Varna on Monday.
The rally is set to start at 5:30 pm EET and is expected to finish by 9 pm, local media inform.
The Euxinograd residence is a top seaside destination for many Bulgarian MPs and ministers.
Varna-based protesters have already announced they are making plans to besiege the Euxinograd beach by land and sea.
Monday marks the 53rd consecutive day of anti-graft protests against Bulgaria’s Socialist-led government. The rallies were prompted by a series of highly controversial appointments and wider concerns about corruption.
Parliament has entered summer recess until September 4, during which time rallies in the capital Sofia are planned to scale down.
