Anti-government billboards have popped up in Bulgarian seaside city of Varna, which is expected to welcome MPs and ministers on vacation.

One of the billboards (shown above) displays a crossed out picture of the residence of Euxinograd in Varna, with an inscription "Resignation, Mr. Oresharski."

The information has been published by the Facebook protest information group NOresharski.

Bulgarians have been rallying for 50 consecutive days in capital Sofia to request the resignation of Bulgaria's new PM Plamen Oresharski following a string of controversial appointments.

As parliament has entered into summer recess, rallies are likely to scale down, but a comeback has been promised for September.

A handful protesters have however started on a gruelling Sofia-Varna 450 km hike, while others are planning an intervention at the Euxinograd beach by land and sea.
