Four young men, between the ages of 18 and 22, and a 16-year-old girl perished in the crash, which occurred near the town of Elin Pelin, in Sofia region, around 7:30 am.

The young people have gotten into a BMW from the parking lot of the local stadium half hour after midnight to test the powerful engine. The car was driven by its owner.
