Bulgaria will receive around EUR 100 M from the total of EUR 6 B allocated by the EU for boosting youths' employment.

Bulgaria is to receive the resources allocated at the EU summit on 27-28 June under the Human Resources Development Operational Program for the 2014-2020period, according to reports of Dnevnik daily.

Bulgaria's Ministry of Labor and Social Policy has started working with employers and trade unions to draft a national plan which will guarantee the access of young people to work.

A set of amendments to the Employment Encouragement Act stipulating incentives for employers who hire young people also aims to help Bulgarians under the age of 25 find a job.

Apart from that, the Labor Ministry is also preparing five strategic documents on a partnership deal with the European Commission under which Bulgaria is to subsequently receive the funds for the entire 2014-2020 programming period.
