Bulgarian party of the Greens assembled on a flash mob Saturday at the symbolic Orlov Most intersection in downtown Sofia to open their campaign for May 12 early elections.

Supporters came to the rally with swimming and beach gear, lying down on the pavement.

This was intended as expressing their concern with ongoing drives to develop further and build more on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast.

Leaders of the Greens lists at various points in the country announced the party's priorities, which in addition to nature protection include more direct civic participation in the government and stronger support for SMEs.

Ralliers also discussed various ongoing nature-protection campaing, including those for prevention of construction on the Coral beach, and prevention of ski facilities expansion in the Pirin National Park.
