Incumbent US President Barack Obama has expressed confidence that he will win Tuesday's presidential elections in the USA, report agencies.

Obama has already used his right to vote early, but in his public appearance at a campaign office in Chicago said he expects to "have a good night" Tuesday.

"I would like to congraulate Governor Romney for his spirited campaign. I know his supporters are just as engaged, just as enthusiastic," added the Democratic candidate regarding his GOP rival Mitt Romney.

"I am confident we've got the votes to win," said a happy Obama.

However, he recalled that a successful outcome for his campaign depends on a good voter turnout.

On his part, Mitt Romney also displayed strong optimism and said he is certain of his victory, when he cast his vote in Massachusetts earlier Tuesday.
