Bank Office in Downtown Sofia Robbed in Daylight

An office of Alianz Bank in downtown Sofia was robbed in broad daylight Tuesday morning.
The signal for the robbery was received at around 8.45 a.m. on Tuesday, according to reports of the Interior Ministry.
Two armed men wearing motorcycle helmets went into the bank office on Dondukov Blvd 123, pointed a gun at a cashier, and demanded all the money in the cash register.
The two took the money and sped away on motors in an unidentified direction.
The amount of stolen money is still unknown.
Nobody was injured in the accident.
Police officers and investigating magistrates are inspecting the site and examining eyewitnesses.
