3.8 Degree Earthquake Registered in S Bulgaria

An earthquake with magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale has been registered near the southern Bulgarian town of Razlog Saturday.

The tremor has an epicenter 12 km west of Razlog and 91 km south of Bulgarian capital Sofia, according to data by the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The earthquake occured just about noon Saturday, at an estimated depth of 10 km.

There are no reports of destruction and injured people.

A month ago, a 5.8 degree earthquake just off western city of Pernik caused damage and stressed many in the region.
