Malaga May Come Up with EUR 6 M Berbatov Offer

Spanish team Malaga will offer EUR 6 M in exchange for Manchester United's Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov, according to Spanish media.

The club plans to lure the striker with a EUR 3.5 – 4 M salary per season, Nuevo Futbol says, as cited by the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency.

Berbatov has no intention in playing for a Premier League club next season, according to his agent, Emil Danchev.

It is believed that the unwanted Red Devils striker would not settle for less than a club that is competing in the Champions League next season.

Malaga finished 4th in La Liga and will compete in the Champions League qualifiers for the first time in its history.

On Tuesday, Manchester United agreed terms with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa.
