Berbatov Sets Up Youth Academy in Bulgaria

Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov has created a youth football academy in his home country, it has been announced.

Berbatov's academy is now officially registered, according to the Bulgarian State Gazette, the country's gazette of record.

The academy will be based at Sofia's National Sports Academy, where a new training ground is to be constructed for the purpose.

Berbatov, who is set to leave Old Trafford this summer, had already announced his plans to establish a football academy for youngster in Bulgaria.

At the end of 2008, the striker established a foundation in Bulgaria with the goal of helping talented children and youngsters realize their potential.
