Bulgaria Captures 5 Illegal Immigrants from Turkey

Bulgarian Border Police have nabbed five illegal immigrants from Turkey trying to make it to Western Europe.

The five Turks were caught late Wednesday night near the village of Rezovo at the Bulgarian-Turkish border.

Upon their interrogation the Bulgarian border policemen from the Malko Tarnovo border unit found the group came together in Istanbul, and planned to cross to Bulgaria for Western Europe.

The five illegal immigrants crossed the border Rezovska River on foot near the Turkish village Sestioba. They have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office in the town of Tsarevo.
