London is hosting the 2012 summer Olympics.

Over 60 000 grasses, herbs, flowers and 60 000 bulbs will be planted in the park, which is located in the vicinity of the Olympic Stadium and will be dedicated to the British passion of garden-growing, according to the Bulgarian news agency BGNES.

The garden has four sectors: Europe, the Americas, Asia and the southern hemisphere. The planting, on an area of 250 acres, is almost completed. It will provide a festive and floral atmosphere during the games with the garden becoming the largest London park in the last 100 years.
