Berbatov Listed by Man United for New Season amidst Transfer Reports

Bulgaria's star striker Dimitar Berbatov has been registered by Manchester United for the new season at the English Premiership, which indicates that he will not be sold.

In spite of the numerous recent media reports that Berbatov will be transferred to France's PSG, it appears that he will remain in United, as there are less that two weeks left before the end of the summer transfer period.

For the time being, however, there have also been no indications that Manchester will offer an extension to Berbatov, whose contract is set to expire in the summer of 2012.

Berbatov's fate has been the discussed by international media for months, even though 2010-2011 was the striker's strongest season.

Berbatov hit 20 Premier League goals that earned him the top scorer Golden Boot alongside Manchester City's Carlos Tevez as United claimed a record 19th title.

However, the 30-year-old former Bulgarian international spent much time on the bench towards his last season at Old Trafford, as he lost his first team place to Javier Hernandez.
