Bulgarians Nabbed in Hong Kong for ATM, Credit Card Frauds

Two Bulgarians and one Canadian citizen who allegedly participated in an international credit card and ATM racket were detained Wednesday in Hong Kong.

The suspects were allegedly "cloning" bank cards from France and Italy and using them in Hong Kong ATMs.

Items worth HKD 800 000, including HKD 700 000 in US, Hong Kong and Canadian currency were seized by the police during the operation, as well as 196 plastic cards containing information from stolen credit cards, according to The Standard.
