Bulgaria's Volleyball Team Out of World League after Loss from Brazil

Bulgaria's national volleyball team has lost its last match in the qualifications for the World League Final.

The Bulgarians lost 2:3 games from Brazil in Varna Friday night after putting up a tough fight.

The Brazilians carried the first game (21:25) after which Bulgaria took the next two games (26:24 and 31:29).

Brazil eventually triumphed by managing to turn the match around with wins 22:25 and 12:15 in the fourth and the fifth games.

Thus, Bulgaria lost all of its four matches against Brazil; the day before it lost 1:3.

Bulgaria remains second in its group but failed to qualify to the World League Final as it failed to become the best “second” team in the groups.
