Bulgaria's largest English-language media Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency) is inviting you, its readers, to select Bulgaria's Personalities and Events of the Year 2009!

Novinite.com has launched Friday the 2009 edition of its annual initiative to pick the most deserving and successful individuals related to Bulgaria, and the most important event of the year.

The 2009 voting categories include Bulgarian Politician of the Year 2009, Bulgarian Sports Personality of the Year 2009, Bulgaria's Event of the Year 2009, International Politician with the Greatest Contribution to Bulgaria in 2009.

You can VOTE HERE or use the link above the In Pictures section to make your voice heard. The voting will proceed until the first week of January 2010.

The winners will be announced and awarded at a special ceremony in January 2009. Thank you for your contribution!
