The National Movement for Stability and Prosperity (NMSP) is seeking to achieve second place at the July 5 parliamentary elections in the Black Sea capital, Varna.

The information was revealed by the press center of the party of former Tsar and Prime Minister, Simeon Saxe-Coburg, adding State Administration Minister, Nikolay Vasilev, was the most likely majority winner in Varna.

According to a poll, conducted by phone by the MBMD polling agency on June 12 and 13 among 602 Varna residents, half o them say they stand at center of the political spectrum. The results were revealed by Vasilev himself, who attended an election rally in Varna as the NMSP ballot leader in the city.

The MBMD poll places NMSP third in Varna with 13,1% while the opposition Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) Party is first with 47%, followed by "Coalition for Bulgaria" with the Bulgarian Socialist Party with 13,4% - a very slim distance ahead of NMSP.

Those polled had further said they believed Bulgaria's most successful Ministers were Nikolay Vasilev and Education Minister, Daniel Valchev, also from NMSP.

The poll shows that Vasilev enjoys the highest support from Varna's residents among the other majority candidates - 51%.
